  • A thoughtful discussion on the games industry

As discussed in the episode with Austin Walker, it’s a bit of an austere era for games crit and games news media in general. That’s why I appreciated Phillip and Ben’s conversation with Austin: games exist in the world, and making those connections between themes, mechanics, and people can tell us so much more about the work. This podcast is one to watch — thanks to the hosts.

  • These Boys Are So Hot

Ben & Phil are not only great interviewers and thoughtful people, they are also Grade A Hunky Beefcakes and I for one don’t understand why they aren’t Co-Presidents of the United States of America.

Really enjoyed the interview with Matthew. Quality interviewing technique, questions and sensitivity from the hosts which made for a refreshing take on the creative deep dive idea. Will definitely check out other episodes as well.
