  • The Phone Number

Jones did the same crap at 98.5- the freaking phone number every 30 seconds. People know the number Adam, you kill the flow of the show just endlessly repeating the number. My god, the same people call in every day but remind us. Worse than weather on the 8’s or news updates on the 10’s. If people want the number, they can search in 1 second. Keep killing the show’s momentum, maybe you can do Augusta sports talk… Do they have sports in Maine??? This show could be a 5 but you need to learn from F... more

  • Mego and Arcand> Jones

Jones is an obnoxious hot take guy who talks over the two better parts of the show to try to prove he knows more or is smarter than Mego and Christian. Unfortunately he’s intolerable and the show is tough to get through because of it. I love Mego and Christian and wish it was Mego and Arcand minus that twerp Jones.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

HR 2 - Celtic on Celtic crime
Q: What was your opinion of the starting five that Joe Mazzulla threw out there?
The panel agreed it was a wild, speed-focused lineup crafted to counter Brooklyn-style pressure and to maximize shooting and pace, though it was clearly untested together and faced scrutiny after the game.
Rob Bradford says this Red Sox team COULD be a playoff team
Q: Do you truly believe that this is a playoff team as constituted?
Bradford and the hosts discuss that Breslow's assessment is optimistic due to the AL being weak, but they acknowledge the need for strong leadership and improved execution to realize that potential.
Jaylen Brunson and the Knicks confidently lie in wait
Q: Jaylen, congratulations to you, man. I'm a lifelong Knick fan. Been through some terrible years, but you guys definitely bringing a lot of glory back to the city. Real quick outside of the playoffs, as a wrestling fan, what did you think of Roman winning at Mania in the bloodline getting back together?
The guest response is not fully captured in the transcript, but the host shows interest in the Mania question and continues with related questions about the Knicks and Celtics.
HR 2 - It's the WEEI Dating game with Rich Shertenlieb!
Q: What do you think about Tatum's return and the impact on the team's rhythm?
The panel generally believes his return changed the dynamics, with some suggesting it disrupted the rhythm and others noting his elite play when healthy. The consensus is that the team needs to manage his minutes and find a balance between star power and bench energy.
Tier 1 Turpin talks Celtics loss and places more blame on Mazzulla
Q: What do you think is the main issue with the Celtics right now aside from injuries?
The panel believes the core issue is the rotation and the over-reliance on isolation ball, which has disrupted team identity and made bench players less effective; extending the bench and returning to deeper rotation could help, but it's a delicate balance with Tatum's health.
