  • Red Sox are a Dumb Team

Beetle starts the week off telling us the Red Sox are dumb because they can’t remember how many outs there are. I assumed he was referring to Jarren Duran on Sunday. Later in the 1st hour, Beetle and Zo are interviewing Jim Miller who says that he expects the patriots to win 8-9 games. Then 2-3 minutes later Beetle asks Miller how many games he expects the Patriots to win this year. Hey Beetle, do you need someone to hold up flash cards showing key points already covered by guests? I give Beetle... more

  • Beetle is unbearable

Unless you have an unhinged obsession with listening to sports talk radio every day, this show is absolutely unbearable now. Beetle constantly talks over co-hosts and guests, particularly when he’s backed into a corner and is losing a debate. He sounds like the fat kid who got constantly bullied in school and wants everybody to know it. Gave up on this show years ago, went back today to try it out one more time and he is worse than I ever remember. And Zo is ostensibly a Pats employee paid to te... more

  • Getting grating

November 4 show was so frustrating to listen to. With a patriots great game to talk about they couldn’t get more that 2 minutes an hour talking about the game or the team. Just more and more insufferable garbage about stupid songs or tv shows and music from 2004. It’s football season, it’s short, please talk about football!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Red Sox Opening Day Lineup // Joe Mazzulla Calls In // Tom Brady Inquired About Playing Again - 3/26 (Hour 3)
Q: What happened last night in the Celtics game and how did the team respond to OKC's challenge?
The hosts discuss that OKC pressured the Celtics, but the team responded with improved execution on both ends and a higher level of physicality in those moments.
David Andrews Joins The Show // Reaction To What The Patriots Have Done So Far // Khyiris Tonga Confusion - 3/11 (Hour 2)
Q: What do you like about Romeo Dobbs? What do you think he can give them?
Dobbs is viewed as a versatile receiver who can contribute in multiple roles, giving the offense more flexibility and matchup options without forcing a single true number-one receiver to carry the load.
Phil Perry Joins The Show // Latest on The AJ Brown Front // Patriots Better Than They Were A Month Ago? - 3/13 (Hour 3)
Q: What grade do you give the Patriots' free-agent period so far?
Perry argues a B-plus with upside, noting solid foundational adds at receiver and on the line, and suggesting there is room to improve with one more starting-caliber edge defender to push the grade toward an A-minus.
What Has Happened To Boston? // Replacing Stefon Diggs // Celtics HC Joe Mazzulla Joins The Show - 3/5 (Hour 2)
Q: What impact do you think Stefon Diggs had this past season and where might he land?
The guest suggested Diggs had a terrific year and could land with multiple teams due to his value, with a veteran pursuit likely either via free agency or a trade.
Red Sox Offense Better Than Last Year // Should The Patriots Trade Christian Gonzalez? // Drake Maye Drop Off Coming? - 2/27 (Hour 3)
Q: Can you explain this to us?
The discussion revolves around the idea that Christian Gonzalez might be traded because the Patriots have concerns about paying him top dollar when they aren't sure he will live up to the expectations for that investment.
