  • Red Sox are a Dumb Team

Beetle starts the week off telling us the Red Sox are dumb because they can’t remember how many outs there are. I assumed he was referring to Jarren Duran on Sunday. Later in the 1st hour, Beetle and Zo are interviewing Jim Miller who says that he expects the patriots to win 8-9 games. Then 2-3 minutes later Beetle asks Miller how many games he expects the Patriots to win this year. Hey Beetle, do you need someone to hold up flash cards showing key points already covered by guests? I give Beetle... more

  • Beetle is unbearable

Unless you have an unhinged obsession with listening to sports talk radio every day, this show is absolutely unbearable now. Beetle constantly talks over co-hosts and guests, particularly when he’s backed into a corner and is losing a debate. He sounds like the fat kid who got constantly bullied in school and wants everybody to know it. Gave up on this show years ago, went back today to try it out one more time and he is worse than I ever remember. And Zo is ostensibly a Pats employee paid to te... more

  • Getting grating

November 4 show was so frustrating to listen to. With a patriots great game to talk about they couldn’t get more that 2 minutes an hour talking about the game or the team. Just more and more insufferable garbage about stupid songs or tv shows and music from 2004. It’s football season, it’s short, please talk about football!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Patriots Building Towards Week 1 // Teams That Can Win the Super Bowl // Today's Takeaways - 7/23 (Hour 4)
Q: Conor Orr suggested a list of 14 teams that could win the Super Bowl this year. Which teams did you find most surprising or most likely to outperform expectations?
The group generally agrees on several heavyweights like the Chiefs and Bengals staying on the list due to elite quarterback play and coaching, while debating the ceiling of teams like the Bears, Lions, and Broncos depending on health and development of quarterbacks. The discussion highlights that a few teams can surprise with coaching changes or improved rosters, but the safe bets remain the established powerhouses.
Barth’s Under The Radar Players in the Spotlight // Does Drake Maye Have Too Many Mouths To Feed? // Matt Polster Joins The Show - 7/23 (Hour 3)
Q: With the World Cup momentum, does promoting the Revolution to new fans matter for MLS growth?
Polster agrees that promotions leveraging World Cup enthusiasm can grow the fan base, express the sport's global appeal, and attract tens of thousands of new supporters.
Barth’s Under The Radar Players in the Spotlight // Does Drake Maye Have Too Many Mouths To Feed? // Matt Polster Joins The Show - 7/23 (Hour 3)
Q: Matt, what's it like for you watching the World Cup and not being part of it?
Polster describes the World Cup as an incredible tournament that brings cultures together, and he notes the excitement of watching top players while appreciating the experience even from afar.
72 hours to go? // How is Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum’s relationship // How does Sonny Gray feel? - 6/19 (Hour 1)
Q: What is the likely weekend trajectory for the Giannis deal according to the hosts?
They believe a weekend move is possible with a complex package involving Brown and picks, possibly a third team, and the players being shuttled to Milwaukee or Miami depending on negotiations.
Brian Robb Joins | A Big Two Weeks For Celtics| Who’s on the Trade Block?| Callers Reactions - 6/24 (Hour 3)
Q: Could the Celtics realistically build around Giannis instead of Brown?
Yes, but it would require sacrificing significant assets and probably altering the roster's core balance; the panel discusses how Giannis would affect ceiling, interior defense, and cap dynamics, while noting whether the Celtics are willing to commit to that path given long-term implications.
