  • Quite good!!

I deeply miss Mark Gemelli and I disagree with their takes on Sonic Youth, but this show is the best on the radio. Inspired local sports coverage crossed with Stern. What discriminating listener could ask for more. (Try listening to “Schizophrenia,” on “Sister.”)

  • Not a sports show

This show is 100% garbage. It’s not a sports show and it’s not funny. Proof positive, I’m halfway through the episode the day after the eagles chief Super Bowl and they’re talking about Larry david and jeans on a episode titled “what happened last night” You should’ve stayed with Zo and beetle, hardy!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Keep 3, Dump 9 | Doug Kyed Talks Patriots, Gonzalez & AJ Brown - 3/24 (Hour 2)
Q: Which event would you keep as the one flagship among the rest?
March Madness was identified as the strongest candidate to keep, with consensus from at least one host that the college basketball tournament should remain despite the others.
The Trial Of The Century Featuring Afroman | Cedric Maxwell & Robert Parish Join Toucher & Hardy | Licc’em Low Lisa - 3/20 (Hour 3)
Q: Was there ever a moment for either of you where Larry Bird was like, look, looking back, I could have been a better teammate or a better friend?
Robert Parish suggests Bird may have privately acknowledged past issues, but publicly it wasn't something he would openly admit; Cedric Maxwell frames Bird's actions as stepping back and helping with opportunities to work together, indicating growth in private. The overall takeaway is that there was mutual respect, with room for improvement acknowledged in private conversations.
A Pound Of Weed // Tim Healy Joins // Gold Digger - 3/17 (Hour 2)
Q: Which players stood out during the camp and how might that translate to the regular season?
Brayden Ward impressed with stolen bases and speed, hinting at a potential role as a pinch hitter or depth option; Brayden Ward's performance, along with a robust spring for others, suggested that the Worcester roster could provide usable depth if they capitalize on opportunities.
A Pound Of Weed // Tim Healy Joins // Gold Digger - 3/17 (Hour 2)
Q: What was it like to see so many players gone for the World Baseball Classic and how did that affect the Red Sox at camp?
The absence of players for the WBC created opportunities for less-heralded guys to step up in spring training, with some players taking advantage and making a case for roster spots, while others were limited by the timing of their returns and the need to balance preparation for the regular season.
Thuppets Songs // Jay King Joins // NFL News - 3/10 (Hour 3)
Q: What have you made of Jason Tatum since he's been back?
King notes Tatum is moving well, handling 27 minutes per game, showing bursts to the basket, finishing through contact, and generally looking like his pre-injury self, with the main caveat being shooting consistency and ramping up playoff-level intensity.
