  • Quite good!!

I deeply miss Mark Gemelli and I disagree with their takes on Sonic Youth, but this show is the best on the radio. Inspired local sports coverage crossed with Stern. What discriminating listener could ask for more. (Try listening to “Schizophrenia,” on “Sister.”)

  • Not a sports show

This show is 100% garbage. It’s not a sports show and it’s not funny. Proof positive, I’m halfway through the episode the day after the eagles chief Super Bowl and they’re talking about Larry david and jeans on a episode titled “what happened last night” You should’ve stayed with Zo and beetle, hardy!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ken Mahan Joins Toucher & Hardy | The Email Bit | The Stack - 6/1 (Hour 4)
Q: Ken, first of all, what happened on Saturday?
The event was a bull-eyed meteor entering the atmosphere, likely three feet wide, which created a loud sonic boom heard across eastern Massachusetts and neighboring areas. It sparked meteorological analysis to estimate its size, speed, and origin, with NASA data helping to triangulate the event after the fact.
Talking Deuce at the French Open | Tim Healey Joins Toucher and Hardy | Highschool Band Talk - 6/2 (Hour 3)
Q: What did Tim Healey's reporting reveal about Breslow's analytical philosophy?
Healey describes Breslow as highly analytical, prioritizing synthesis of multiple information sources and ongoing model improvements, while acknowledging there is debate within the front office about the degree of analytics vs. traditional methods.
SURPRISE Call from Cedric Maxwell | The Email Bit | The Stack - 5/11 (Hour 4)
Q: What did you think about the elbow incident involving Victor Wembanyama?
There is a balance between competitive play and sportsmanship; the incident is serious, but the league will weigh context, intent, and history to decide a suspension, if any.
Matching Tattoos! | Tim Healey Joins Toucher & Hardy - 5/11 (Hour 3)
Q: What's Tim Healey's take on the Red Sox's chances given their recent play?
Healey suggests there's a realistic path to the postseason if they can get hot, but cautions that several other teams are competing for the same spots, making the wild card race a tough backdrop.
Tyler Milliken’s Trauma | Cedric Maxwell Joins Toucher & Hardy - 5/8 (Hour 3)
Q: What did you make of Jalen Brown's comments about this being a favorite season for him?
Maxwell viewed it as a reflection of the team's surrounding players and an acknowledgment of the role he played, not a dig at anyone, and he felt Brown's comments were his own perspective on the season's dynamics.
