Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

They Said It: Jayson Tatum clears things up about Jaylen Brown
Q: What did Jason Tatum have to say about the friction with Jaylen Brown and the expectations around their early Celtics years?
The hosts anticipate Tatum addressing whether the reported friction existed, with the underlying theme that much of the narrative surrounding their dynamic was shaped by media scrutiny rather than a factual rift between them.
Is Will Campbell concerned about The Patriots drafting Caleb Lomu
Q: What happens if Will Campbell doesn't perform well this season as a left tackle?
The panel suggests he could still start if the knee injury is improved, but there is consensus that a poor season would spark questions about the long-term fit of the fourth overall pick at left tackle, potentially leading to a shift to guard or re-evaluating the draft choice.
Front Office Report: The Red Sox front office is aggressively trying to improve the roster
Q: Are you aggressively looking to add a bat to this lineup?
Yes, we are aggressively trying to improve our team and adding offense is one clear path, though we remain open to other avenues and even outside-the-organization options as part of the broader strategy.
HR 3 - Chris Nowinski discusses head injury research | The News
Q: What does stage 3 CTE mean for laypeople?
Nowinski explains that stage 3 (and 4) CTE often leads to dementia and outlines how CTE progresses from microscopic vascular lesions to widespread brain involvement, affecting memory and social functioning.
HR 3 - Chris Nowinski discusses head injury research | The News
Q: Hey, Chris, how are you?
Chris Nowinski replies that he's doing okay and describes the context of LB's brain being studied and the ongoing press release about LB's stage 3 CTE findings.
