  • Informative & Fun!

I look forward to episode releases: I’ve learned so much from this program, and have been inspired to continue learning more about opera, opera history, and the arts! Highly recommend! This podcast is inclusive: great for newbies like me, to people who have always held a passion for opera and its community!

  • Totally a Fan

This is such an important show for the university student. The stories are inspiring and the knowledge base on here (shoutout to Matt Cummings) is challenging. I look forward to entering into the professional world, now that I feel that I “know” so many additional people!

  • You’ll learn stuff listening to these guys.

The May 7th 2019 episode on how to approach listening to and learning to appreciate recitative says it all. A really challenging topic that clearly took a lot of preparation and demonstrated true facility with the subject and they made it fun to listen too. Then they did it again the vey next week gabbing about Mussorgsky. These guys are worth all the effort you can give them.

  • My favorite part of the week!!

I love this show so much. I study voice at a small conservatory and it’s so helpful to know what’s going on in the greater opera world and getting to hear upcoming singers and listening to the greats from the past. I love listening every week—your show keeps me motivated and focused on my future career!! 😊
