  • So good

I look forward to every episode of this show dropping in my feed. Michael and Callum do such a gorgeous job of revisiting these classic films in a way that is funny, interesting, and very, very queer. I even love listening to them talk about films I’ve never (and might never) see!

  • Dusting off the VCR

Callum and Michael’s catalog of reviews reads like my childhood VHS collection. They don’t make fantasy movies like they did in the 80s and 90s anymore, and these two are honing in on the dreamy, ethereal, ooky spooky vibes we all got while sitting inches away from our TV sets. They hit the Nightmare Nail right on the head.

  • My favourite Fantasy Podcast

Been getting nothing but hit after hit of recommendations based off eps of ‘Movies That Made Us Gay’ and ‘The Lady Killers’.

This by far my favourite of the 6 I’ve tried out: fantastic to hear fellow Scottish queer folks talk about Nightbreed and Conan The Barbarian

  • A Deep Dive of Fun

Had a blast going down memory lane with this pod. I mean they had me thinking about movies I haven’t thought of in years. For all you fellow Gen X or Xennials out there this is definitely a must listen. Can’t wait to see what they do next. Great chemistry, fun guests (looking at you Doom Generation) and amazing topics. - Danielle

The Witches of Eastwick (1987) with Morgan M Page
Q: If you were to recast these roles in a modern remake, who would you choose?
For Alexandra, I think Stephanie Germanotta (Lady Gaga) would be great. For Jane, I'd love Michaela Cole, and for Sookie, maybe Anna De Armas.
The Witches of Eastwick (1987) with Morgan M Page
Q: Morgan, could you tell us a bit more about your connection to 80s and 90s Fantasy?
I was born in the 80s, in fact, the same year this movie came out, 1987. I was a video store kid, constantly in and out of the store, particularly attracted to stories about powerful women.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992) with Joshua Tonks

Josh shares his nostalgia for films and TV from that era, highlighting favorites like The Page Master and The Power Rangers, as well as mainstream hits like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
Krull (1983) with Movies That Made Us Gay
Q: What are your personal connections to 80s and 90s Fantasy?
For me, they were all just staples of my childhood VHS collection, and also just kind of stumbling onto these movies like Krull on Late Night Base of Cable.
Santa's Sack - Season Finale Christmas Special and Mailbag
Q: What is each of our most treasured or valuable item in our collection?
I would consider my collection of pink Power Rangers toys my most treasured and valuable collection item. It's been a fulfilling journey of collecting.
