I loved this podcast. The creator / narrator makes her family story so accessible and relatable. Overall inspiring despite the tragedy, and it helps that the narrator has a lovely soothing voice. A privilege to be able to share in the family history when survivors and their testimonies of the time are now becoming fewer and fewer.
It effectively combines a personal story of past survival and resilience, with memory, loss and legacy. Would highly recommend.
One of the best contemporary witness documents of the Third Reich spanning three generations: moving, incredibly touching, wonderfully told, with a fascinating travelogue
