I honestly don’t understand how anyone could leave a negative review of Mick and Jake. These guys have had me laughing out loud during some long, tough days.
I’m not anyone special in the ultra community—I just love to run—but I really appreciate how passionate and unfiltered these guys are. Their conversations are hilarious, real, and have gotten me through long Amazon delivery shifts and long runs when I needed it most.

Just some dudes sitting around talking about trail running and letting the conversation flow. Feel like I’m sitting right there with them. Love the tangents.
These guys have an easy manner and Michael J. McKnight fits right in. Love listening to these guys talk about ultra-running, races, prison, injustice, whatever. It’s just an easy listen.
Interesting in spots, but I just couldn’t get past the irrelevant rambling and casual misogyny (joking about stalking women). And now beating women too. It’s not a good joke if you’re punching down and making light of violence you’ve never experienced, bros. Gross.
