李琳山「學長」談教職這條路，教職生涯四十餘年的心路歷程。
接續上集的小故事，老師談到前微軟亞洲研究院院長洪小文，在大學時期時他就因出色的成績讓老師注意到，後來擔任老師的助教、協助舉辦 Workshop，在 CMU 讀博士期間也是在從事語音的研究，和老師持續有較密切的接觸。
談及語音的未來，老師認為在應用端仍有許多技術尚未落地，但只是時機未到，未來語音技術肯定能為人類帶來更多的便利。
在訪談的最後，老師提到比起寫書，他更想用數位的方式，記錄人生，典藏回憶，並永存在雲端。

李琳山「學長」談教職這條路，教職生涯四十餘年的心路歷程。
在擔任資工系主任時期，為使台大資工系現代化並與國際接軌，老師積極招募旅外人才，在那資源拮据的年代，每年僕僕風塵走遍全美，拜訪各大名校及著名研究機構，希望說服人才回台任教。
接著，來到了琳山大師的講古時間，老師談到了嫡傳弟子李宏毅和Google前台灣區總經理簡立峰的故事。

琳山老師於1974年畢業於台大電機系，該屆可稱為是 NTUEE 的黃金世代，知名系友包括：華碩董事長施崇棠、友達光電前董事長李焜耀，台大前校長李嗣涔等人，在學界以及業界都為台灣帶來了極大的貢獻。
大學畢業後老師前往 Stanford 就讀碩博士，僅花三年就拿到碩博士學位，畢業後進入產業界工作兩年，並利用閒暇時間走遍全美，思考人生方向。
