  • Right up my alley!!

Love it. These are the conversations that need to be had. It’s okay to think differently. As long as we can have civil discourse then we are on good shape. Keep it up!!!

  • Love this podcast

I come from a family of many different policital perspectives and as a result, political conversations have always been off-limits. This podcast has really helped me start those tough conversations and find some understanding and empathy on the other side. Highly recommend listening if you want to clarify your opinions and get better at respectfully debating those who disagree with you. I think that's a very important skill that we all need to learn.

  • Smart and entertaining

Their Southern California civility is graciously extended to their guests- guests of both sides of the political aisle, or apolitical. The interviews approach the subject from seperate viewpoints, but the topic and information presented is never lost to an idelogical battle. This is the podcast to listen to understand progressive and conservative viewpoints, not hear two people battle from politically dogmatic strongholds. That being said, the podcasts with no guests are fun as they challenge... more

  • Some good episodes but room for growth

One of the most recent ones had a guest (Han Chu, a San Diego doctor) who seemed very awkward and didn’t have many concrete tips. He kept saying “um” and “uh” and “drink water”. Not anything new. I’d recommend they have their guests prep before recording so they have an idea of what they will talk about. I liked the first episode Coronavirus episode a lot- where they were debating about how Trump was dealing with everything.
