I’ve been following Vulgar Drawings’ comics for some time, and was thrilled that she came out with a podcast. I was really impressed by the quality of the storytelling - knowledgeable and personable guests weaved together by a great host. Looking forward to season 2!
This podcast is not only super interesting and covers topics that no one else talks about, but is also really well researched and structured and interviews super interesting and competent guests/experts on the respective topics! Highly recommended!
As the mum of a trans child I found this particular episode was brilliant. However, they’re all great.
I listened to Neurodiversity, which I enjoyed and was informative. I also listened to Problematic Family, which I was less impressed with. It implied the majority of Boomers are racist bigots. It was even acknowledged that the podcast had been ‘hard’ on Boomers. What they seem to have overlooked is that Boomers fought for the equal rights subsequent generations now take for granted. A bit more balance would be nice, rather than buying into culture war nonsense.
Love it, but please and make it more personal with the conversational style, here it sounds very narrative like.
