In this podcast, many of the swears are actually funny. The players take their characters seriously, and the world lightly. Which is to say that they mostly act like people, not murderhobos, with actual morals making real choices but, at the same time, they're often huge idiots, and the details of the world are treated casually enough to avoid the grimdark or sanctimonious. Great chemistry! Minimal combat! Shameless leftist politics! An actual play that's actually play.
What if a DnD cast tried hard not to kill anyone and thought about the consequences of killing literally anything. This is that. Barely a show, more the microphones happen to be on while they play, but what is here is intelligent funny and vastly entertaining.
