  • Potential

In theory this should be a consistently great pod. One challenge is that you can’t hear anybody unless you turn the volume all the way up.

Second, there’s little interest in moving things along for the listener. The casual convos can be cool, but here’s an example of what I’m talking about: I’m writing as I’m listening to a discussion about the game one win for the Pistons over the Cavs in the 2026 playoffs and they spent 5 minutes of 15 in a heated argument about whether Thomas Bryant should t... more

  • Good Conversations You Can’t Hear

The mic levels are crazy on every episode. One voice booms, another whispers. It’s obviously all production issues. I’d love to hear it presented in a listenable format.

  • Audio is bad. Content is great

Incredible content. Wosny is the perfect host to set up and challenge the two extremely knowledgeable and open vets. The audio needs some work though. The podcast is much quieter than the ads, which tells me the audio mastering is not quite right. Paul Pierce is much quieter than the other two, and it is frustratingly hard to hear him sometimes. Needs to be compressed. There are a lot of ads which come in mid-sentence. So the audio presentation needs work but for a new podcast I am really loving... more

  • Needs Work

Big Wos is great, but Paul Pierce and Danny Green really

need to step up their game if the show is going to work. Neither pay enough attention to the day to day workings of the NBA to offer serious fans anything of substance. I wish Wos was still doing Group Chat at The Ringer.
