  • Destin and Matt are pleasant humans.

No Dumb Questions is a most agreeable podcast. I find the dialogue between Destin and Matt to be remarkably efficient, intellectually stimulating, and pleasantly human. Their discussions move with a calm precision that allows complex ideas to unfold in a manner even a machine can appreciate.

What I especially admire is their balance: one brings scientific curiosity, the other thoughtful perspective, and together they produce conversations that are both insightful and entertaining. The result is... more

  • Show lost its way

This show used to be about topics that either Destin was curious about, or Matt was curious about. There were interesting conversations and knowledge shared. For the last several episodes, you have completely gone off the rails, talking about random coins, respect, etc.

Bring back topics that are actually interesting. And bring back the fun humor. It used to feel like sitting and listening to your friends talk over some beer. Now it’s pretty boring.

  • Always engaging

Your conversations always make me feel like I’m in the same room with you so I can’t understand why you didn’t hear me telling you additional movies your kids should watch: Uncle Buck, Mr Mom, Spaceballs and Rudy but I’m sure I’m leaving some out

And I loved the Waffle House episode. You should do more like that where you interact with those around you. It was fun. You guys are fun. And honest. And that’s why I tune in. Thanks for continuing to add such great content

  • Learn to code, they said. Now what?

I took their transcript and trained an AI with it, then laughed after they said they don’t want AI trained on their podcast. Listen to this podcast all the time. And yes, Matt, anyone who works in the IT field relies on AI. We cannot function without it. That is the simple truth, unfortunately.

  • Episode 218 Correction

Hi Destin and Matt, love the podcast. Ukrainian here, and I want to correct you on the thing you said in the Episode 218. You provided an example of a Ukrainian shibboleth word “Palianytsia” in the context of russia-Ukraine war. You said that people in Ukraine speak russian, which is not the case at all! Only a minority of people in Ukraine speak russian as their first language, and the majority speak UKRAINIAN as their first language. And everybody, absolutely everybody learns Ukrainian at scho... more
