  • I listen to podcasts on my walks. I have been *crying of laughter* in public because of Natalie Haynes. It was worth it. Her stand-up comedy are as good as her books which, by the way, you should read.

Well done Natalie for persevering with this fabulous episode in front of a dull as ditchwater audience. They were terrible but you were excellent. I don’t know about eating children and stones but the audience, well…!

  • NH is probably the best advert for the classics

Funny and interesting delves into the archives, always reminding us that we’re all just people, whether we’re alive now, or a couple of thousand years ago. Natalie has sent me to the library or the bookshop more often than anyone else in recent years. (Her books are excellent too.) I hope one day she’ll Stand Up For Herodotus.
