Mary Beard is a great scholar and the premise is fascinating, but without the visuals she describes it's simply frustrating.
I downloaded this as I love anything by Mary Beard. Luckily due to the storms this week i had a lot of time stuck in traffic and listened to all 6 episodes on my commute. I loved every minute of it, my only wish is that there were more episodes! Mary has a wonderful way of making the stories interesting and engaging. Please make more!
