  • Needed

This podcast is definitely needed by every lady honestly. I love the authenticity of the guests and tbh this podcast has brought I and my friend to be really close. I don’t listen to it alone, we listen together and discuss it which helps us. With that being said, she reminded me that the next one was supposed to be in October 1 and we are waiting patiently 🌚

Don't grieve alone; seek support from a grief therapist or their spiritual community.

I lost my mom, and then we walked straight into the pandemic about nine months later. I felt led to pivot and focus on grief coaching.
S6E2: Monster In Law
Q: What would you advise the daughter-in-law on the situation?
I would advise her to pause, whatever wedding that they're planning, look deeper into the dynamics of this man's family.
S6E2: Monster In Law
Q: Do you think the mother-in-law would have reacted differently if the daughter-in-law was not African-American?
I personally don't, because I think that that's an internal issue that the mom clings with, and it would have reflected on anyone, no matter race or background.
