Describing MythTake is tough. If I say "it's two professors of classics discussing little-known works of Greek mythology," that, while true, won't come close to gripping the fun that they bring. Alison and Darrin remind me of a pair of drivetime DJs on the radio, where one is trying to tell the story, and the other is riffing humorous interjections. It works. You'll laugh out loud and learn a ton about stories you thought you already knew. Get into this podcast now, because it's worth it.

There are a number of podcasts out there on Ancient Greek and Roman myth, but a few things set this one apart from the rest. Both hosts are professional classicists, which means they really know their stuff. The conversational format is always fun and engaging. They each bring a different personality and intellectual style to the table, and it's interesting to hear their different approaches. And finally, the concept of a "mythological tour of the solar system" is simply brilliant!
