My obsession of the week is studio Ghibli so this is fuling my burning passion ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this podcast so much. I’m waiting to hear all the episodes until I’ve watched the movie they are discussing. But I’m looking forward to listening to more. I’ve never written a podcast review but I want the hosts to know how much I love listening to them.
I live this podcast!! I’ve recently been going through all of the ghibli films, and every time I finish one, I get so excited knowing I’ll get to listen to another episode of the My Neighbor podcast. They’re the perfect length, not too long and not too short, as well as very funny and entertaining. The only negative thing I’d have to say is I wish it was updated more. Other than that, super great!
Also, apologies for the name, I set it when I was a very small child writing a review for some ran... more
Amazing but haven’t posted in 3 yrs 🥺 Ty for reading my comment I’m a big fannn 💕💕💕
Amazing but haven’t posted in 3 yrs 🥺
The episode on “Laputa castle in the sky” was very ordinary with an overlong plot retell with too much chitchat interspersed. The critical comments on the film, whether praise or criticism were not particularly thoughtful or informative.
Also the man struggled with pronunciation thinking that being “rubbish with names” was an excuse, along with both mispronouncing “Totoro”
I wouldn’t try another episode; the “Ghibliotheque” podcast is of much higher standard.
I love Studio Ghibli and am glad to see that there’s a podcast about it.
You need to bring much more structure into your podcast. I obviously like people talking about things I hold dear, but you need to stop interrupt each other and start a conversation with structure.
Yay! At last a fun podcast talking Ghibli and the fact they are taking them one by one and I can watch along with them is great:)
What a fun show. Nikki and Ian create a fun show that looks at Ghibli films one by one. Can’t wait until they get to my favourite movie
