This gem of a podcast is the perfect listen for this history loving, genealogy buff, family memory keeper. Love it so much!
I saw a reel on Instagram and ran over to Podcasts to look for My Grandma’s Diaries. I scrolled all the way back to the beginning and I’ve enjoyed it so much. Elizabeth is close to my own grandmother’s age so I have a reference for a lot of the things discussed in the talks. I’ve found myself being extra grateful for all the little blessings I tend to take for granted. My nine year old granddaughter is enjoying listening with me when we are in the car together.
This podcast is a delight! Hearing about Elisabeth’s daily life and her family and friends has drawn me in - the podcast is so well done! Liz brings so much energy and they do these lovely deep-dives into the various people mentioned in Elisabeth’s diary. It’s a perfect mix of biography and a social history of small town America in the 1930s. This podcast is a gem - I’m thrilled that I saw Liz on social media, and it brought me here!
