  • Murph is the Best

I listen for Murph but love how fun the show is as a whole. Cooler of Content is probably my favorite segment. What Did Young Tony Ask Today is another great one.

Absolutely Beautiful walk! Tenderloin was only place we saw a few tents. We were never the least bit scared or... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Giants Trade Deadline Buzz: Justice Delos Santos Breaks Down Key Decisions
Q: What is Justice's read on the Giants' draft strategy given the current roster gaps?
Justice suggests considering high-upside infield and pitching prospects, weighing the balance between best-player-available and need, while noting organizational depth and the potential for multi-position players to add versatility.
Giants Trade Deadline Buzz: Justice Delos Santos Breaks Down Key Decisions
Q: Should the Giants be taking calls on every player, including big-money veterans?
Yes, the panel suggests that it is prudent to listen on all players to understand what the market is and to leverage flexibility, especially for potential moves that could free payroll and open room for upgrades.
Mike Krukow Joins The Show To Discuss What The Giants Plans Are For The Future of The Giants Rotation
Q: What changes have you seen in Landon Roop since his win and how does that affect his trajectory?
Roop showed significantly better mechanics, allowing repeatable strokes and improved efficiency around the knees. This leads to better velocity, movement, and command, making him a more reliable option in the rotation and potentially a staple alongside Webb as the team builds depth.
Mike Krukow Joins The Show To Discuss What The Giants Plans Are For The Future of The Giants Rotation
Q: What is your progress report on Trevor McDonald and his future role in the Giants rotation?
McDonald has evolved from a two-pitch guy into a pitcher with multiple movement types, including fastballs, curve, change, cutter, and the need to pitch up around the knees. The key is rhythm management and adjusting to the hitters; with improved control and variety, he could become a confident part of the rotation, though continued development and consistency are required.
Warriors, Giants and World Cup Headlines PLUS Gary St. Jean Joins the Conversation
Q: What's Gary's take on LeBron possibly joining the Warriors and the related draft implications?
Gary suggests that while a LeBron move would be a blockbuster, the Warriors would likely value draft capital and long-term flexibility, making such a decision complex and contingent on multiple factors.
