- Exactly what a recap pod should be
They talk about who is on the show this week, not just names but "this person was also on Golden Girls!" This is my comfy listen, just like the show itself is a comfy watch. Mark and Laura crack me up when they talk about the crazy outfits and how the plots don't add up. Unlike some other recap shows, their love for the show still shines through and it doesn't feel like a hate watch.
When I just want to laugh and not have to think (in a good way!) I queue up the next episode!

I only recently discovered this show so I’m still on season one, but I can’t stop binging it. I appreciate that I don’t have to constantly skip forward through commercials or other nonsense (although I do enjoy when we learn tidbits about the hosts — Laura loves beagles!). I enjoy the fashion assessments and calling out the nonsensical plot elements. Mark and Laura mock with love. “Non Equity Norma Desmond” from “Deadly Lady” has had me cackling for days. Keep it up!

They each bring great perspectives and hilarious senses of humor to the show, and let’s face it, while we all adore “Murder, She Wrote” and the amazingness of Angela Lansbury, talking about five-heads and will-and-testaments for lesbian inmates elevates the show into something you never want to stop talking and laughing about.
