In the early morning hours of June 5, 2002, a man appeared in 14-year-old Elizabeth Smart's bedroom at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. He put a knife to her neck, told her if she screamed he would kill her, and marched her out of the house and into... more
As we always used to say IT'S NEVER THE SATANIC CULT IN THE WOODS--THEY DON'T EXIST! But try telling to Michelle Smith and Dr. Lawrence Pizder, whose book Michelle Remembers was published in 1980 and IS STILL RUINING LIVES TO THIS DAY! The book was b... more
On December 3, 1999, billionaire Edmond Safra and his nurse Vivian Torrente died in a house fire in his 10,000-square-foot Monaco loft. The circumstances are... insane. Like, in the most secure country in the world, surrounded at all times by a team ... more
FAM...I KNOW WE SAY THIS A LOT, BUT THIS ONE IS WILLLLLLLD. In the early 1960, we don't know exactly when, George Carol went out for a pack of cigarettes and never came home. His four kids spent decades wondering what happened to him. Their mother, D... more

Long-time listener but over the past few years Jillian has gotten worse and worse. I can’t figure out if she got affected because of the popularity or she’s always been like this, I just never noticed. She used to be funny, but over the years she hates EVERYTHING and comes off genuinely annoyed by Patrick at times. And he seems to just hang on everything she says, she stifles him. Patrick, blink twice girl!! J wants to be relevant so badly, but it’s just not happening, and she has zero humor abo... more
I’ve listened for years but Gillian is insufferable. I’m finally unsubscribing. She literally says she doesn’t care if a rich person gets murdered. Like what? You let the pendulum swing wayyyy too far girl
Used to listen to this every single day. Now it’s all ads and annoyed Gillian. I had even bought merch and patreon. I now listen to small town murder instead. Go there first.
This pod has just gone down hill in quality and content for the last two years. As a very left voting and acting queen, even for me the hosts are so judgy about the most minute things and almost feel like “fast food woke” as in they don’t actually really want to tackle issues but want to judge others, it’s just quick bits of insincere nonsense
I like that it’s got a bit of humour (without being disrespectful of victims). It makes it a better bedtime listen than some that are a bit darker. Cant give them 5 stars because of the snake oil sponsers. Which seems at odds with their values. I know it’s literally how they pay their bills so it’s difficult but these companies are wellness/diet culture grifters. I also need them to listen to the many podcasts about people who have survived the abuse of the lds/mormon “church”
