… and so does this show. Intros too long.
The hosts are trying too hard to be like MFM. Not enjoyable.
Terrible sound quality. Lots of fake laughter. Listened for the first time and it took almost 30 minutes to actually start telling the story. A story that has been told by every other crime podcast. I couldn’t listen for more than 45 minutes, as my ears were starting to bleed!
I have been binging while gardening, I only have about 6 episodes left till I’m caught up, if you could maybe crank out 3-4 a week that would be great, I have a lot of gardens to take care of.
Thanks in advance-Zachary
I’m new to podcasts, and have been trying to find a few good ones to listen to on my drive to work. I’m both fascinated and horrified by murders, but don’t normally seek out information about them because I find it depressing. I found this one via friends. This podcast handles them well, with the before/after discussing the murders being little funny segments, which I feel helps to listen to the heavy (but also educational) material that’s in the middle. The girls are charming too!
I love this podcast. They look at crime from a female perspective which is a breath of fresh air. The story about Lydia Tillman really hits home. This podcast makes me laugh but it has also made me cry, get angry, and feel scared. A really great podcast! Highly recommend!
I got to episode 20 (started at the beginning). There were some rough patches, including someone eating throughout most of an early episode, but most of the kinds smoothed out. It's very conversational: four women - who are obviously good friends - talking about crime and stuff and, for the most part, I enjoyed it quite a lot. Ep. 20 is where I lost it, though, and had to quit. It has nothing to do with the title (twenty marijuana cigarettes, which is a funny running gag), but everything to do w... more
Good stuff. We have several podcasts in the rotation at work and this one is easily one of my favorites, definitely my favorite in the genre. The girls are fun to listen to, you can tell they actually like doing this and doing it together...sometimes...you get the feeling that someone is just reading a script and that's not the case here. Love the content, they always make dark stuff funny and that's my favorite.
Yes- this podcast has a group of people talking and talking and talking - with bad humor and annoying laughters! I was disappointed as I am a true crime junkie since I was hoping for something fresh.
I thoroughly enjoy this podcast and can’t get enough of these wonderful women! From cults to ghosts to calling out the patriarchy; from international crime to red-string conspiracies; from those questions that we all have about psychology to planning sleepovers to calling out social injustice: this podcast has something for nearly everyone. I appreciate the laughs, normalization of the need for mental health care, and the info on murders I may not have heard of already! Keep up the awesome work ... more
Codi’s episodes are my favorite! She’s so thorough. I hope we get to hear more about Danny cassalero and all of the connecting conspiracies!
I'm always looking for true crime and this is a great addition to the rotation it's fresh and funny. Big fan!
This is actually the first group podcast I’ve listened to with more than 3 hosts! These ladies are rockin this form and it totally works for them. Feels like hanging out with your friends and talking true crime. Their episode on Danny Casolaro is an absolute masterpiece.
You gals are flippin’ hilarious! Your dynamic is really awesome and it sounds natural! I listen to a lot of pods casts and I stop if I can’t get past the fact they are not smooth. You girls have it down!!
if you like wine and crime you’ll like murder blows!! Just a group of mates having a murder chat - feels like you’re with friends. Such sweet gals who are really sympathetic to the victims and their families
