  • Just like listening to a mate

I went to school with Leonie and I tell you, she has just as much spunk as ever. Particularly her solo eps put a smile on my face. For those looking for something more serious she certainly touches on that too by getting experts in. I work in family law and have stumbled upon excellent resources for my client’s by simply just listening. Definitely worth putting on the podcast rotation for the serious and fun stuff!

Jules (my husband) is in the studio! Our relationship challenges & wins, parenting styles and more…
Q: One of the questions we were asked was, be honest, what's the most Leonie thing that I do that drives you insane?
Leonie's drive comes from being highly organized and planned, which Jules acknowledges can lead to stress and last-minute friction, especially around weekend routines and life admin.
Steph & Gian Ottavio on life after The Block, birth trauma, IVF & finding purpose
Q: How has parenthood changed each of you as people?
Parenthood has deepened our sense of purpose and shifted our priorities from achievement to meaningful daily moments, health, and providing a secure, joyful life for Ellaria. It also reinforced teamwork and reframed our ambitions toward family-centered ventures rather than solely personal gains.
Dr Nicole Highet on mental health challenges after birth – Part 2
Q: How can listeners differentiate between postnatal anxiety, postnatal depression, and a bad day?
The distinction lies on a continuum and the level of impact on daily functioning; persistent symptoms lasting two weeks or more with functional impairment suggest depression, while anxiety can involve intrusive, worry-driven thoughts even without a specific trigger.
