  • Just like listening to a mate

I went to school with Leonie and I tell you, she has just as much spunk as ever. Particularly her solo eps put a smile on my face. For those looking for something more serious she certainly touches on that too by getting experts in. I work in family law and have stumbled upon excellent resources for my client’s by simply just listening. Definitely worth putting on the podcast rotation for the serious and fun stuff!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Luke and Sassy Scott O'Halloran beyond the content, surrogacy, parenting twins and all the lessons
Q: How did you announce the birth of the twins and handle the naming?
We faced a quick, collaborative moment about whether to hyphenate the twins' names and ended up sharing the news after discussing it in a brief, practical conversation.
Luke and Sassy Scott O'Halloran beyond the content, surrogacy, parenting twins and all the lessons
Q: What was your initial reaction when you heard Scott wanted to pursue surrogacy?
It was exciting but clear it would be a long journey; it required patience and broad support from family and community.
Sydney Graves on breast feeding, labour & pregnancy Q&A
Q: What can partners do to help during labour?
Educate themselves beforehand so they can communicate clearly with the care team and be the support anchor during labour, helping the mother feel safe and calm which in turn supports smoother labor.
Sydney Graves on breast feeding, labour & pregnancy Q&A
Q: Is it normal for new mothers to experience pain when starting to breastfeed?
Pain at the start can be common, often related to latch or the baby positioning; with proper latch, full tissue engagement, and addressing issues like a tongue-tie or baby slipping off, this pain should lessen as breastfeeding becomes established.
Sigourney Cantelo on how burnout led to rehab
Q: What was it like walking into the treatment center and leaving your children behind for three weeks?
It was terrifying at first, but the commitment to becoming a better parent and addressing long-standing trauma outweighed the fear, and the experience proved transformative through structured group therapy and deep personal reflection.
