As a person who doesn’t have access to video games but is really interested in them I love this podcast. It keeps me in the loop of what’s going on in gaming that my friends talk about all the time. You guys rule!
I’m 51 and have been a gamer since Atari. Literally my whole life. Still love playing games, and now I play with my sons, who are adults now as well. It’s been less of a niche experience, and more of a family dynamic. Your podcast has been part of my daily drive lately and always puts me in a good mood. Thank you so much for bringing smiles to my day, and normalizing my fun. Keep up the great work guys!
Just kidding, I been around for like 6 months now, been meaning to leave a review for a while. Met you all at Phoenix Fan Fusion and been listening ever since. You all make my days at work easier and have steered me towards games I’ve never played before! Thank you for the laughs, the information and just entertaining me throughout my survival job. Good game, gents.
As someone who’s been gaming for decades and still gets excited about a well-crafted horror title or a tactical RPG with depth, The Video Gamers Podcast hits the sweet spot. Josh, Ryan, Ace & John feel less like hosts and more like mates you’d grab a drink with at the pub after a long session. I find them funny, insightful, and refreshingly down-to-earth.
I appreciate how they keep things clean and inclusive without watering down the content. It’s clear they care about the games and the people ... more
Such a great show! I love the banter between hosts and their candid takes on all sorts of games. I especially love the weekly indie episodes with Ace as those appeal to me most.
I’m a dad of 3 with not a ton of time for games so it’s even fun to live a little vicariously through their experiences. That and it helps me snuff out good games to pick up here and there. Life’s too short for bad games! :)
