Reviews

4.7 out of 5 stars from 33 ratings
  • Great show. Poor audio quality.

I love the show for all of its behind the scenes goodness. I’m a weekly listener.

It sounds like there’s no test session with the guests, because guests frequently sound bad, and sometimes makes the segment unlistenable (like the 2/4/26 episode with Chad Knaus). MRN Crew Call - 5.6.26 - WGI Preview w/ Randall Burnett
Q: Just what are you gonna be looking for as we hit the ground running up there this weekend, up in the Finger Lakes region of New York?
Randall responds that they are watching weather, track conditions, and how the practice may affect tire wear and setup for the different sessions, with emphasis on getting a good read on how the car handles in varying conditions and whether the truck and Cup cars can adapt to the changing forecast across all three days.
MRN Crew Call - 3.25.26 - Chris Gayle
Q: What did Darlington reveal about the new package and how will it affect Martinsville?
Darlington showed the package could deliver close racing without destroying performance; teams learned to manage downforce and aero balance, which should translate into adaptable setups for Martinsville, especially with the 400-lap format and rubbering considerations.
MRN Crew Call - 3.18.26 - Scott Graves
Q: Hello, Scott. How are you and where are you at with your team's current direction heading into Darlington?
Scott responds that the season has shown variability with wild-card types of races, confirms they are evaluating setup balance given the lower downforce package, and emphasizes the importance of practice to dial in balance and predictive strategy for Darlington.
MRN Crew Call - 3.11.26 - Inside 23XI's Early Season Success
Q: What strategic considerations go into balancing race wins versus points, especially under the new chase format?
Teams need to balance winning races with accumulating points across the season; the new format rewards consistency and top seeds in the playoffs, encouraging a holistic approach rather than chasing wins alone.
