I tried to like this podcast. I listened to several episodes. I found it after one of the hosts was a guest on another podcast. I found him articulate and funny. But once the three Mothboys are together it’s unbearable. I felt like my IQ dropped just listening to them. It’s a shame because I think the topics have potential. I can’t take the juvenile attempt at humor. Bummer.
I found this excellent podcast a couple of months ago and have been enjoying going back over the back catalogue of brilliant episodes. Looking forward to hearing more, keep up the great work gents.

The overall vibe is playful, idea-churn heavy, and community-centric, making it approachable for fans of strange phenomena who enjoy personalities that mix comedy with curiosity. Noteworthy strengths include strong host chemistry, deep local lore ties (especially around West Virginia), and a willingness to mix indie folklore readings with offbeat conspiracy-style speculation, which tends to attract listeners who... more
