Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

"The Monster of Glamis Castle" w/ Mark Rennie
Q: What is your take on the Monster of Glamis—legend, rumor, or something more?
Mark Rennie leans toward legend with a kernel of historical truth, suggesting there may have been a real child with deformities kept secret, but the more compelling part is how the story evolved through gossip, royal lineage, and cultural storytelling.
"Death and Return" w/ Elton Anderson Jr.
Q: What is your personal paranormal history?
Elton recounts growing up with a fascination for dimension-shifting fiction, then experiences a near-death episode in Brazil during malaria treatment that introduced powerful metaphysical perceptions, including a telepathic communication with four feminine beings and a choice to return, followed by a broad spiritual and career reorientation years later.
"I Was a Teenage Vampire" w/ Celeste Mott
Q: Can you explain what Mallworld is?
Mallworld is a term designating shared dream spaces, particularly common among those involved in 'gifted and talented' programs in school.
"I Was a Teenage Vampire" w/ Celeste Mott
Q: What was your experience like in the Anne Rice-inspired vampire cult?
The experience blurred the lines between fiction and reality, leading to doubts and complicated feelings regarding belief and manipulation.
"I Was a Teenage Vampire" w/ Celeste Mott
Q: How did you get initiated into the world of witchcraft?
I had a very strong interest in the paranormal and witchcraft from a very young age. It felt like initiation by spirit from a young age.
