福岡アジア美術館で開催されていた「神楽と仮面の民俗誌」を見に行きました。「由布院空想の森美術館」設立や九州の民俗仮面や神楽面を長年研究・収集する画家の高見乾司さんの圧巻の絵巻が素晴らしかったのですが、高見さんとお話ししていたら、なんとうなぎの寝床で取り扱っている竹籠を作っている竹聲館の高見八州洋さんのお兄さんでした。来週4/14~18で場所を移して展示があるようです。次は兄弟展というなかなかない展示とのこと。絵と仮面と竹と写真、どんな空間になるか楽しみ。場所は大分県日田市のパトリア日田！
