  • Skeptics Unite!

    Treating the unserious unseriously.

Toby Ball is one of the most underrated wits in podcasting.

This podcast solidly points out the absurdity of the alien-fanatic-pseudo-scientific community and the biggest TV show that gives them a home.

  • A comfort listen for my old comfort watch

Despite the wackiness (sometimes bleakness?) of the source material, this podcast has become such a pleasant listen when I need to plug into something familiar and just relax with some stories and humor. (It helps that the hosts have great voices!) Really incredible guests as well. I started listening after hearing Janet Varney talk about the pod.

And with so many seasons it does seem to be reaching. This is infinitely better than watching the actual show. And I love their guests as well just for different opinions and voices. The hosts are knowledgeable and funny. Often the Ancient Aliens show jumps subject to subje... more
