Still subscribe to the magazine but now all the radio programs just follow the BBC. Moninfle on Saturday and Sunday, the briefing etc now just completely left and bland. It’s fine to be anti-brexit, pro-democrat, on the fence with the ME, (guess panders to sponsors)but it’s now a ‘news channel’ anymore, just always pro one side and its relative biases.
There’s something really sinister about a politically neutral news podcast. The tone of these news stories give impression that the content is curated in order not to offend blue chip clients and investors.
Basically a white, left, and upper-class take on the news. It’s very sheltered with no diversity in thought and no variety in voice or opinion. They occasionally check in with foreign correspondents, but their condescending take just reinforces their privileged position. To be fair though, I think this is by design, and they execute to a tee.
Love the magazine and am a subscriber. And won’t cancel but the Briefing, the Daily and the Globalist are just a mirror of the BBC. Totally Anti-brexit, totally pro-Biden, completely pro War in the Ukraine….. and I voted and would again for remain, would probably be a democratic….. more
It’s another loudspeaker for far left political activists.
