Love the show. Make sure I tune in every Sunday, since last year. However, the new theme song is terrible. Please go back to the original. Made the topics being covered more motivational. Keep up the great work though.
Fantastic fun to listen to this on Sunday, and hear what is going on in the world. NZ news is so inward looking and frankly poor journalism - fun to see a positive spin on things, and get news headlines in a far more fun and breezy way.
There are often interesting conversations on the program, but what a strange response from the journalists on the 11 February program when it comes to the hostage-taking by an armed asylum-seeker. I think Tyler Brule‘s question as to why this event disappeared from the media at some point is more than justified. It shows once again that the issue of migration, which affects many people, is simply not wanted by many journalists and in many newsrooms. I would not want to be one of the hostages. B... more
All the non political stuff is great but apart from that, the radio station is now just london centric and Left! And even if the interviewers and interviewees are not British you just KNOW they are just what you’d expect… liberal, city educated, wealthy, creative types but non physically productive (will make a nice carved knife with 1000 folded steel but will hate people who chop down trees)…
Used to love this show, the global perspectives were great, but lately it’s become as predictable as the mainstream media. The guests seem oblivious that their criticism of anything slightly conservative is bad. They constantly talk up how wonderful places like Japan, Switzerland, and Mexico are (completely homogenous societies) but demand we all be more woke and diverse.
