  • Mediocre

More interested in telling a sensationalized story than actually telling the story of conservation. Do the “journalists” like Ashoka even talk to conservationists? Or just to the western academics who moan about the militarisation of conservation without ever having spent a day in the field?

I really appreciate this podcast. Though I’ve worked in the environmental field for over a decade, this show consistently exposes me to new ideas, issues, thinkers and writers. I appreciate the truly global perspective, and that the hosts don’t shy away from challenging or controversial issues. I also love the “stop the tape” fact checks. As an elder millennial, I’ll admit this is delightfully nostalgic, but as a scientist, this gives me more confidence that the content is being thoughtfully vet... more

Oh my gosh! This podcast in general and this show in particular give me such hope for the world and humanity in these very troubled times. Knowing so many people are working so hard to make the world a better place makes me cry. This is so much better for my mental health than reading the news. I promise to become a subscriber!
