The discussions are thoughtful without being overly clinical, and they open up space for reflection rather than judgment. It’s the kind of podcast that stays with you long afte... more

S4E21: The Affair Isn't the End - Part 2: Sex After Betrayal
Q: What protocol do you typically coach couples with around rebuilding and reclaiming a healthy sex life after an affair?
There isn't a one-size-fits-all protocol; progress depends on the individuals, the level of trust rebuilt, and addressing the infidelity first before forcing a return to prior sexual patterns. The process often begins with acknowledging the betrayal, establishing safety, and then gradually reintroducing physical closeness and communication, while honoring boundaries and pacing.
S4E23: Beyond Viagra: The Pioneers of Sexual Medicine with Dr. Irwin & Sue Goldstein - Part 1
Q: What makes your clinic model unique in treating sexual health?
We focus on a biopsychosocial approach, involve the couple as a unit, offer extended visits to educate and explore options, and ensure access to diverse therapies including hormonal, surgical, and behavioral interventions.
S4E23: Beyond Viagra: The Pioneers of Sexual Medicine with Dr. Irwin & Sue Goldstein - Part 1
Q: How did the Viagra revolution influence your work in sexual medicine?
It catalyzed a broader recognition that erectile dysfunction could be treated through a combination of pharmacology, biologic understanding, and psychosocial support, ultimately expanding research, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
S3E19: Lost Episode: The Guide to Getting it On-An Interview with Author Paul Joannides
Q: Why do you think couples have such a hard time talking about sex?
Couples often struggle due to societal conditioning, religious backgrounds, and a lack of adequate sex education that encourages open dialogue.
S3E19: Lost Episode: The Guide to Getting it On-An Interview with Author Paul Joannides
Q: What would you suggest parents do when their kids are watching porn this young?
Parents should differentiate fantasy from reality and start discussing sexual education early on, using correct anatomical terminology and encouraging open conversations.
