    Lifelong metal maniacs!!

    Right.

Your Morbid Angel episode is what, one idiot trying to read what he found on Wikipedia and their official bio? THAT is your deep dive? Even the most peasant death metal listener knows about the green slime version of Domination, and you boneheaded dorks — ALLEGED HUGE FANS — found about that in real-time during the episode.

Also, are you totally ESL? Why can’t you pronounce poignant? It’s a common word.

Inside Raygun Recording Studio | Chris Frankhouser on Producing Michigan Metal & Hardcore | Ep. 138
Q: When did Raygun come about and what led you to start the studio?
Raygun grew from a DIY setup in a living space that gradually became a dedicated control room as workload increased; the decision to move into a separate space came from a need to separate performance from engineering and to pursue producing more seriously.
Inside Raygun Recording Studio | Chris Frankhouser on Producing Michigan Metal & Hardcore | Ep. 138
Q: How important is the performing musician's skill to the producer/engineer?
Extremely important; tone and timing are driven by the player's ability to tune and hit accurately, and the producer should value that live performance while shaping it in the mix for clarity and cohesion.
đŸ”„ ANNEX VOID Returns | Static Ghost Reaction + New Album Plans | Metal Maniacs Podcast #155 đŸ”„
Q: How did you approach recording the album—studio or DIY?
They chose a DIY route, renting an Airbnb and tracking drums, guitars, and mixing in-house, with remote collaboration and then finalizing with an outside mastering engineer, aiming for a natural, non-grid feel.
đŸ”„ ANNEX VOID Returns | Static Ghost Reaction + New Album Plans | Metal Maniacs Podcast #155 đŸ”„
Q: What led to Annex Void becoming a four-piece band, and how has that affected your guitar parts and live performances?
They describe the lineup change as shifting from five to four, which tightened the rhythm section and allowed more flexibility to add and modify parts, especially in live settings where one guitarist covers more space.
Dog Skull Interview (2026) | Heavy Post‑Hardcore from Michigan | The Metal Maniacs Podcast Ep 157
Q: What's your favorite part about being in Dog Skull?
The energy of live shows and playing with friends, with a strong emphasis on camaraderie, a sense of achievement, and the joy of hearing fans sing along and connect with the music.
