  • Good show but needs to lose dead weight

I really wish they would get rid of flako. He reach too much and be way off point. He can’t relate to street topics yet has the most to say out of them. Just like he talks crazy in a safe space. Get rid of him already

Problem Da Goon on Almost Shooting an Opp on a Podcast, Insane Prison Stories, Bassett California
Q: What does goon mean to you, and what do you goon off to?
Goon is described as a committed, focused approach to life and guarding one's territory or people, extending to long stretches of time spent in a certain way, including controversial implications of sexual meaning in slang; he explains the distinction between gooning and casual behaviors, and how it relates to his image and hustle.
Problem Da Goon on Almost Shooting an Opp on a Podcast, Insane Prison Stories, Bassett California
Q: What age did you join the hood?
He began engaging with hood life in his mid-teens, driven by family history and neighborhood dynamics, and he explains how his father's presence and actions shaped his early choices.
Dawgface on Doing 17 Years in Prison, Disrespects Wack100, J Prince Jr & More
Q: You've talked about the 'check in' culture in Detroit. How do you see that evolving with independent media?
The check-in idea is a street-level code; in media, power shifts to platforms and creators who can coordinate across cities, but the core is still about accountability and reputation, which can be amplified or cleaned up by responsible content creation.
Dawgface on Doing 17 Years in Prison, Disrespects Wack100, J Prince Jr & More
Q: How did your time in prison shape your approach to media and entrepreneurship after release?
Prison taught me how to observe, plan, and pivot; it also reinforced the value of discipline and building a respectful, strategic path back into society through steady work, relationships, and creating content that speaks truth without fear.
Dawgface on Doing 17 Years in Prison, Disrespects Wack100, J Prince Jr & More
Q: What was the first viral moment you realized your words on the podcast could move the culture?
I realized it when I started criticizing Detroit rappers and Eminem—the conversations blew up and people began to reference what I said as a marker of street authenticity and local culture, which showed me the platform could shift narratives.
