Straight up reviews of new shows are pretty good. Interviews and discussions get painful when they go to questions. Too many people use it to make a speech about themselves. They should limit it to questions. Maybe just play voicemails they can edit.
Heather Rae has a voice for close captioning.
Maybe it’s time to move on. Orginal host John Campion stated on the most recent episode that after 15 minutes it took him 5 days to get back to the episode. For the flagship Star Trek podcast, there is less review and general discussions to “well that’s not how I would do it”. I fully understand that the “Live!” Show isn’t really meant to be a review show but it seems like it’s more ace grinding and less critical or informed criticism.
