Shawn has great takes, it feels like insider information! Not a huge podcast listener but this stuff is well produced!
that one guy.. Shawn is so funny and intelligent.. I can’t wait to hear what comes next!
the concept is great and the guests can be interesting. the host is a cannonball of white-guy-podcast-host cliches, the most consistent of which is “asking questions” to guests who sit in silence and wait for him to ramble through his own brilliant takes on answers they haven’t yet given. it’s not charming to be so excited you indulge in bad manners, and this is bad manners. there is no good reason to have guests if you do transparently do not care to *listen* to them.
A sincere and sensible review with an in depth analysis of the film.
I appreciated the guys not getting silly or inane, the topic was engaging.
The host shows someone a film then doesn’t let them talk about it afterwards because he won’t shut up. Could be much better
