  • Jeff Foxworthy Episode

This might be one of the best single Minnesota sports podcasts I’ve ever heard. In this episode, Jeff Foxworthy discusses so many things Minnesota sports… and he feels our pain being a Braves, Falcons, and Georgia fan. Never realized we had so much in common as our brothers to the South. Cy knocks it out of the park with this one. Give this man a slot on KFAN!

  • Tank Coller really

This is a good podcast why do you bring a guy like Tank Coller on it.

The guy does not like the Vikings. He is a hack!

  • Great for Vikings info

VEN has changed a lot since I started tuning in. Current pod hosts Gabe Henderson and Tatum Everett are very good, knowledgeable hosts. Producer Jay Nelson is the homer that really voices how Vikings fans feel even if he’s the ultimate optimist. Gabe has brought so much to the table, especially his player experience. I liked Wobby and Chris Corso, but I think this team is a big upgrade. Cy Amundson’s in-season comic guest series is fantastic. I enjoy hearing the fun Vikings and rivals stories.

Talking Points

Skol Stories: Mike Harris Loves Being A Coach and Staying Connected To The NFL
Q: Mike, just give the listeners an update what you're doing, how it's going.
He explains his current roles as a college O-line coach, a uniform inspector connected to the NFL, and his broader aim of staying close to football while mentoring young players.
Skol Stories: Matthew Hatchette Opens Up About His 1998 Season Experiences and How Coaching High School Football Reignited His Passion For The Game
Q: What did you learn from Coach Brad Childress about leading a program and coaching staff?
The key lessons were to lead with a clear direction, coach your coaches as much as your players, and pay attention to every detail—from logistics to culture—to create unity and maximize performance.
Skol Stories: Matthew Hatchette Opens Up About His 1998 Season Experiences and How Coaching High School Football Reignited His Passion For The Game
Q: What was it like when Randy Moss showed up in 1998, and how did that dynamic shape the receiving corps?
Moss arrived injured and missed mini-camp; once he understood the playbook, his extraordinary talent combined with work ethic, and watching him push the pace, helped elevate the unit and the team's confidence in their broad potential.
Skol Stories: Matthew Hatchette Opens Up About His 1998 Season Experiences and How Coaching High School Football Reignited His Passion For The Game
Q: Let's talk about you grew up in Ohio and the path to college—how did you navigate that journey?
Coming from a small town with limited exposure, there were few Division I options, so I pursued paths at smaller programs and kept grinding, recognizing that will and discipline could still lead to the NFL despite not being highly recruited.
Skol Stories: Mistral Raymond Finds Purpose In Life After Football By Supporting Local Communities and Giving Back To Those In Need
Q: How did your NFL experience shape your decision to start a foundation and give back?
The NFL taught me the value of community and mentorship; I wanted to create a lasting impact off the field, particularly for inner-city youth, by providing opportunities and a model of leadership through my foundation.
