In a world moving at hyperspeed, it’s difficult enough to find a moment to touch into genuine stillness. But even if we do manage to center ourselves in prayer and meditation, how do we remain still and centered throughout the full catastrophe of eac... more
It is easy to assume that we know ourselves. After all, who could be more familiar with me than, well, me? But contemplation teaches us that there are many layers to the self, some superficial, but others so hidden from us that only God can know us a... more

I’ve been meditating on and off for the past 8 years sporadically. When I’ve felt drawn to meditate more regularly it does help with my nervous system regulation as someone who more often than not tends to operate from my sympathetic nervous system.

I’m loving all of Thomas’ meditations and teachings. As an active LDS person, I find these Christian but very non-denominational. The principles are timeless. Thank you Brother McConkie for bringing your being to the world through podcast. 💕

I’m cautiously optimistic that my 34 year struggle with addiction is now and forever manageable. As I say goodbye to two brothers, I’m now at peace with their passing and have begun a relationship with t... more
