  • Contemplation + meditation

I’ve been meditating on and off for the past 8 years sporadically. When I’ve felt drawn to meditate more regularly it does help with my nervous system regulation as someone who more often than not tends to operate from my sympathetic nervous system.

I think Jesus is the definition of having a wide window of tolerance for dysregulating experiences and how easily He was able to come back to his centre and stay regulated in spite of those around him being in their fight or flight mode often. I’ve... more

  • Always comes when I need it

It’s become a bit of a routine to turn on an episode of one heart one mind every night (being late to the party has its perks I guess). Every time I make time and space to drop in, it’s exactly what I need. It, along with At-one-ment, have guided and expanded my understanding of what meditation can be, and in turn, who I can be through Christ. Thanks a million times.

I’m loving all of Thomas’ meditations and teachings. As an active LDS person, I find these Christian but very non-denominational. The principles are timeless. Thank you Brother McConkie for bringing your being to the world through podcast. 💕

  • Changed

I’m 52 years old. Too old to start meditating some might say. In 2024 I watched to siblings take there own lives. I have also battled with demons and have added countless lifestyle changes in hopes of one day just being okay. It’s becoming clear that the missing piece was mindfulness meditation. I’m cautiously optimistic that my 34 year struggle with addiction is now and forever manageable. As I say goodbye to two brothers, I’m now at peace with their passing and have begun a relationship with t... more
