  • Cerebral Experience

Jennifer’s podcast is unlike anything else I’ve heard. She explains not just what needs to change in relationships, but why, in a way that’s insightful, relatable, and easy to understand. We’ve all been one of the people in the couples she describes, which makes her advice feel personal and practical. She helps you see yourself, understand your relationships better, and gives you real tools to create lasting change. Highly recommend!

  • Nuanced Personal Development

Dr. Jennifer Finlayson-Fife is my favorite content creator for personal development. She is a deep thinker, well educated, credentialed, considerate and loving. She helps her audience to consider new avenues for growth, more curiousity about what is true, and to act with courage to honor what's desirable. She sees each person as a powerful creator, and helps to inspire them to move towards regulation and aligned behavior. The resulting development, connection and intimacy are priceless.

  • I’m so grateful for this podcast!

Thank you for having the courage to do this work Dr. Jennifer. I can only imagine how hard it’s been to be the voice of reason. Thank you! I bought your book and can’t wait to read it.

  • Really good and insightful

JFF is fantastic. I absolutely love the information provided. I feel like she gives new insights and understanding to topics that are misrepresented or misunderstood. The only reason I’ve given it 4 stars is because it is heavily through the eyes of women. It’s not a bad thing, but I feel like most episodes are through the eyes of the female perspective. Sometimes episodes, misrepresent how men feel and what we actually want. Sometimes guests will beat that old drum “men just want quantity” whi... more

  • Jennifer is the world best

Dr Jennifer is the world leader for the LDS marital community as we evolve into more celestial intimacy. You don’t have to be LDS to have life changing impact on your intimate relationships. Her purchased courses are top notch and her Room for Two paid podcast is the best money I have ever spent. I can’t support her work enough saving marriages all over the world.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Desire & Devotion
Q: What is the role of developmental stages in how couples experience sexuality and intimacy?
Developmental stages provide a map for how people internalize standards, move toward authentic self-authoring, and eventually integrate sexuality with love and partnership, leading to more mature, agency-filled relationships.
Desire & Devotion
Q: Dr. Finlayson-Fife, how do you frame the idea that conflict can be the growth engine of a relationship?
By reframing conflict as information about our own fears, needs, and beliefs, and guiding couples to stay curious, listen, and collaborate on solutions, so they can understand each other at a deeper level and strengthen their bond.
Tener Sexo vs. Hacer el amor [Having Sex vs Making Love]
Q: What role does the body play in deepening intimacy?
The body communicates meaning and intention; honoring physical expression as a sacred aspect of relationship strengthens emotional and spiritual bonds, rather than treating sex as a transaction.
Tener Sexo vs. Hacer el amor [Having Sex vs Making Love]
Q: How can couples sustain vitality over years of marriage?
The guest argues that vitality wanes when people seek safety and control; growth, self-awareness, and a willingness to be authentic and emotionally exposed sustain erotic energy, along with letting the other person be truly themselves.
When Attraction Fades (or was never there...) | Q&A with Dr. Jennifer
Q: Is it possible to develop sexual attraction towards your spouse if physical attraction was never there in the first place?
Yes, through focusing on emotional, intellectual, and spiritual bonds and by addressing underlying relationship meanings, rather than waiting for physical starts to drive attraction; joint work and accountability can shift perceptions and openness.
