Do you ever catch yourself thinking, "Why does this always happen to me?"
Feeling stuck or powerless can sneak in when we least expect it, and it often shows up as victim mentality. It's a natural part of being human, but the cost is real.

I was “all in” for a while. I’ve had to work on unlearning a lot of the things. She’s 50/50, just like she teaches. Half is great. The other half not great. Took a while for me to recognize this. Things are presented as factual, even though they are not.
One of the BEST thought leaders out there in the “being a human” space.
Jody, please have your team cut this stuff into infinite clips and bombard all the platforms. YouTube, TikTok… you are so right on and more people are just waiting to binge your podcast and join your programs.
edited my comment in 2025 after the “should” episode, which is a banger. And yes, I do realize the irony of telling you that you should market more. 😂

I find this completely disingenuous to replay this episode without the acknowledgment from Jody that Brooke Castillo since this episode originally aired has been divorced and is planning on remarrying someone else. It is great advice but the way that Brookes divorced was pushed under the rug baffles me, as she is the original life coach and could have all sorts of advice and whys of divorce.
I recently discovered Jody Moore’s podcast. And I had previously bought one of her audiobooks on Audible. I had spent some time with a therapist and was looking forward to getting some direction from a life coach. I went back to the beginning of her podcasts and started with episode 1 in 2015, working to current episodes in 2025, over 500 total episodes. After listening to about 70 podcasts, which I mostly enjoyed, I decided to check the reviews as I had previously had a bad experience with anot... more
Ep 519 is weird timing because Brooke and Chris Castillo have been separated/divorced for five years. This was not disclosed before the replay. Brooke is planning to get married to a new person next year, in 2026. The episode without context from Jody kind of seems disrespectful to Brooke’s new marriage. The constant references to the Mormon church exclude the rest of the world from really understanding and appreciating Jody’s message. Her and other people going on about testimonies, missions, w... more

Practical, mindset-forward coaching content that covers relationships, health, emotions, entrepreneurship, money, and personal growth, with a faith-oriented frame that remains broadly accessible. Episodes mix actionable tools, real-life coaching stories, and prompts to apply concepts, often encouraging action, self-reflection, and consistent practice. Noteworthy is the blend of spiritual themes with modern self-improvement tactics, making it appealing to listeners seeking both practical steps and meaning-driven motivation; occasional critiques around religious framing or marketing intensity may arise from some listeners, but the core value remains actionable guidance for leveling up daily life and career.
