  • Very good but could offer more info

I wish more attention was paid to the platforms AFTER the live lesson on on IG on Thursday morning. Apple Podcasts allows for information and notes from the show to be posted on the show notes, but there is nothing here. The only time anything that is referenced is in IG stories which is only up for 24 hours and it’s also not saved in any highlights that I’ve seen. This brand could utilize the platforms they are using so much more but it seems that very little attention is paid once the IG liv... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

On this week's episode of Inklings we go over the talk by Peter M. Johnson: The Power of Ministering to the One
Q: Can you base faith on the anecdotal experience of one person?
Yes—faith is strengthened by multiple anecdotal experiences that collectively become evidence of God's activity, not just a single isolated instance.
Steven J. Lund: Divine Authority, Sublime Young Men
Q: How can we make those words meaningful and take them into our heart?
We need to recognize the importance of taking the sacrament and to think about the significance of the prayers said during this ordinance.
J. Kimo Esplin: The Savior’s Healing Power upon the Isles of the Sea
Q: When you think of the power of God, just from a high perspective, what do you think this conversation even is that we're about to have?
The big question is not, does Jesus save us? Does Jesus' grace enable us? The big question is, how do we harness it?
Dale G. Renlund: “This Is My Gospel” - “This Is My Church"
Q: If I was to tell you to teach me about the Aaronic Priesthood without using the words bless, pass, or prepare, okay? Don't talk to me at all about blessing the sacrament, preparing the sacrament, or passing the sacrament. What can you teach me about the Aaronic Priesthood?
The discussion centers on various aspects such as the ministering of angels, sacrament, and the gospel of repentance.
