  • My new favorite podcast

I’m so pleased that I stumbled upon this podcast. Every episode I’ve listened to and it’s been quite a few., has been entertaining, educational, and different, which I appreciate. Even if the episode seems like it’s a topic I’m not interested in I still listen and I always learn something new.

  • Eat To Heal Review

I look forward to Sara Jane’s new episodes each week and the latest one with Serena Poon was no disappointment! I enjoyed hearing her personal story about her parents and how that led her to taking initiative to better her health from the inside out. For the past couple years I have made it a point to shop at local farmers markets and increase variation in my meals and this episode confirmed I’m on the right path towards living well. Thanks for your insight and expertise!

  • Disappointed

For someone who has chosen to consume audio content from a podcast, don’t keep telling your listeners “you should be watching on YouTube”. If you wanted to have a YouTube channel, then do that. But don’t start an audio platform then choose topics that require a visual. You have lost a subscriber.

  • Please drop the vigana...

Mostly OK podcast, and then we hear the vigana bla bla...odours... its sooooo... offputing.

I will never recomend this podcast to a frend even with a great guest because of the uncouth advertisment...

You need to separate your own personal product not sutable for a podcast promotion from what is can be a good podcast. Or use anothet way of exprecising it. like a personal hygine products.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#62 - The Feng Shui Guide to House Hunting — with Marie Diamond
Q: What role do pets play in assessing a home's energy during a house hunt?
Dogs tend to seek positive, active spaces indicating good energy, while cats may be drawn to negative areas, and observing their reactions helps gauge the space's balance.
#62 - The Feng Shui Guide to House Hunting — with Marie Diamond
Q: What should you do to really test a space beyond the initial impression?
Walk through the space for at least a half hour without the real estate agent, observe how different areas affect your energy and your family's comfort, and consider doing muscle testing or other intuitive checks.
#62 - The Feng Shui Guide to House Hunting — with Marie Diamond
Q: So when I walk into a home and I have an immediate reaction, what's actually happening in that moment?
The subconscious biofield of the house responds first, with the body then interpreting the unseen energy before the brain can rationalize, guiding how you feel about the space.
#61 - Growing Up Asian vs. Asian American (What No One Talks About)
Q: Is there any treatment for keloids in traditional Chinese medicine?
Keloids are viewed in Chinese medicine as excess tissue from blocked flow; treatments involve acupuncture to relieve itching, gua sha to flatten tissue, and strategies to improve circulation and clear damp heat, with Western options including silicone sheets or steroid injections for quicker results.
#61 - Growing Up Asian vs. Asian American (What No One Talks About)
Q: Is it bad to use a pressure cooker?
In traditional Chinese medicine, a pressure cooker is not inherently bad but is considered more yang and faster, whereas slow cooking is viewed as gentler and more nourishing for the body; thus, many practitioners favor slower methods for deeper balance.
