It’s like listening to Jack and Vera Duckworth argue over metal trivia. Highlight of my week. Two aficionados of rock music in one place.

Love the free flowing nature of “Mick and Friends”.
Full of great stories from those with a ring side seat to the circus….right there in the middle of it all.
Come on fellas - sort the mix out. Sometimes I listen to podcasts while walking the dog, so only have one earbud in so that I can listen out for traffic while on country lanes.
So I only get half the conversation - it’s even bad in the car. I’m leaning across into the frigging passenger side to listen to Mick. I know you’re both getting on a bit - maybe ask someone younger to help you get the sound mixed properly
I understand these guys are buddies and the banter is typical between them but after the 17th episode, it gets a little bit tiresome. Especially when they’re always saying “the dealer” referencing Mick Mars. Leave the man be for god’s sake.

The show centers on energetic, nostalgia-fueled conversations about rock history, with a heavy emphasis on bands from the classic and hair metal eras. Co-hosts trade anecdotes, debate culture and media moments, and interview or react to influential figures, all with a humorous, banter-heavy style. Episodes blend behind-the-scenes stories, industry observations, and personal memories, creating a late-night-chat vibe that appeals to hardcore rock fans and listeners who enjoy candid personalities and storytelling about the music world. A standout trait is the duo's ability to mix sharp insights with playful jabs, plus occasional live recordings and guest appearances that broaden the conversation beyond single-band retrospectives.
