A movie review and relaxation podcast for movie lovers who'd like some help falling asleep. Sluggishly hosted by everybody's favorite podcast hosts: a sedate pair of half-ton aquatic mammals who love movies and wax pedantic about them for hours on end. Come with and drift along?

Sorry we're late, half of us had covid! He's actually fine, he just had no voice for a while. And his personality is odd, but that's normal. This month we revisited the 2001 cult classic A Knight's Tale! Written and directed by Brian Helgeland and st... more
We don't know about you guys but we could use some silly escapism. This month, the manatees are checking out 1996's Dragonheart! Directed by Rob Cohen and starring Dennis Quaid and the voice of Sean Connery, Dragonheart was one of our hosts' favorite... more
It's another patron episode! This month we've been directed to watch 1998's Dark City, a flop at the time but a cult classic in the decades since. Directed by friend of the show Alex Proyas from The Crow and starring Rufus Sewell and William Hurt, Da... more
We're going back to video game movies with 2005's Doom! Directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and starring John (the Wayne) Rockson and Karl Urban, Doom is very dark. Not thematically, we mean, like, brightness-wise. While the Doom video game revolves aroun... more

This is by far the best podcast I have ever listened to. It’s so relaxing and enjoyable. Great opinions on movies. Best of all, they have such great voices for podcasting.
I adore the premise, execution, and concept of this podcast, and it definitely helps me fall asleep, but sometimes the hosts can be pretty negative about the films they’re reviewing and that can be kind of distracting sometimes. For me, anyway; since I try to stay positive and keep an open mind, negativity and rejection sticks out like a sore thumb.. But with that said, I’m still going to listen and enjoy the weird ambiance this brings to my sleep routine. It’s pretty harmless in the long run (:... more
So, I heard about this show from a Jumbotron on MBMBaM. I have trouble sleeping so I figured I’d check it out. Now, I’m not gonna lie, I find this show borderline terrifying to listen to when I’m fully awake. The way the voices are modulated gives me the heebie jeebies. BUT! I have been falling asleep MUCH quicker than I usually do! So they must be doing something right because this show really just knocks me right out.
I heard about this podcast on a Jumbotron from The Adventure Zone. I decided on a whim to start listening this week, and it’s helped me shut my mind off faster than I’ve been able to in a long time. I turn the volume way down so I can’t understand the words, and the low tones and subtle changes in pitch becomes exceedingly relaxing. It is my go-to sleeping podcast now. This concept is amazing. Thank you.
This podcast sounds hellish and I don’t know how anyone could sleep with this.
