The first handful of years with the podcast are incredibly difficult and frustrating to listen to; as most podcasts are want to. However, with Masters Cast, one thing in particular stuck out with me that made it even more difficult other than the usual podcaststers trying to find their footing: Katy, and occasionally all hosts in question never seemed to watch the entire series they discuss. As someone new to the fandom because of SPOP, I am enjoying the hosts insight and opinions on the new She-Ra cartoon as I do not have the knowledge of the old shows from the 80s. the way the gang analyzes everything is fantastic and I am going to try to watch some of the old series to understand more.

Admittedly I didn’t listen to every episode of the podcast so I’m not aware of the highs and lows the show reaches. I listened to a handful and just hit the wall. As much as I wish I could be positive about this show I feel like every time some of the people on it open their mouths when their internet connections actually want to work it just makes my teeth stand on edge.
