Signals From Mars has been broadcasting hard rock and heavy metal since 2009 — and the conversation is still going.

Every episode is a chance to find something. Maybe it's a band you've never heard of before. Maybe it's a band you've always known about but never got around to checking out. Or maybe it's a band you loved years ago, lost track of, and needed someone to remind you why they mattered. more

Black Rose Rebellion 2026
Q: What's next in terms of live shows or a tour?
We're aiming for a mix of small festivals, charity events, and a potential album-release tour, always prioritizing opportunities to play in front of fans and build momentum in the community.
Black Rose Rebellion 2026
Q: How long have you been working on the songs for the album?
We started writing in mid-2022, with the first wave of songs emerging quickly during live shows, then gradually evolving in the studio over the last few years as we refined harmonies, ad-libs, and structure.
Black Rose Rebellion 2026
Q: Where did you guys record the album?
We recorded in Jackson, New Jersey with producer George Pond, whose outside-the-box coaching pushed us to try new things while we held firm on some core ideas, resulting in a collaborative, boundary-pushing process.
Voivod 2026
Q: What was the role of the conductor in the performances, and how did you adapt to not having a traditional click track?
Dina Gilbert conducted the orchestra with precise gestures guiding 70 musicians, and the absence of a click track meant the band followed the conductor to maintain timing and cohesion.
Voivod 2026
Q: How difficult was it selecting the right songs to fit the orchestral journey, and were there tracks that didn't work?
The selection was natural and quick, with more challenging work in arranging and sequencing to ensure the show felt like a cohesive journey rather than a random symphonic mashup.
